Every day is getting shorter. I’m running around so much I thought I saw myself come in the door the other day as I was on my way back out!
It was an exceptional weekend filled with exceptional people. I certainly lived up to my simple idea of “enjoy the moments before they are gone” this weekend. Lots of laughing, loving, wine, women and song! Some times the greatest sentiments can be summed up in such simple words. I always get such a kick out of the closing statements from “Escape Pod” founder Steve Eley. No matter what the week’s story was about, no matter how he’s feeling, his sign off line is “Have fun.” I love those simple words. It really can’t be said much better than that…
But there is a price to pay for a full weekend of activity. I got little to no sleep (something I’m pretty used to) and I had no time to mix down the final bit of audio I promised would be posted here today. As long as I am not called back in to work tonight, as long as I’m not killed in traffic on the way home, as long as my computer is functional… I WILL finish the audio tonight and I SHOULD have it posted tomorrow. I haven’t posted audio to the website since we made the change to WordPress and Wade says there’s a better way to do it now. So I WILL finish the mix tonight but I’ll TRY to post it by tomorrow morning.
For now I’m back in the real world, back at work and looking forward to another day, another week, a lifetime full of the same kind of awesome this weekend was made of…
