People Annoy Me

Okay, so I realize that when the posted speed limit shows 45, that it means that is actually the MAXIMUM you should go. I understand that.. really I do. But when someone is driving 25-30 MPH in a 45mph zone and you’ve got double yellow lines so you can’t pass them, they should be eliminated! I was driving to the doctor’s office today with my poor sick baby; not in a rush mind you, but wanting to get there this millennium when I came upon some woman driving the back roads of New Berlin at 28mph. (With NO ONE in front of her) She kept playing with her hair, looking in her rear view mirror just fiddle farting around as if this were a lazy Sunday afternoon. Becca got tired of hearing me screaming at the idiot and told me to pass her – unfortunately with the “construction” signs and that damn double yellow line, I refused to go all illegal and pass her. If I had a laser gun attached to the front of my car, she would have been annihilated! GRRR! It was a beautiful, sunny day. NO reason except to piss me off for her to drive that damn slow…..

Becca, along with the disappointment of not making the volleyball team, is now suffering from bronchitis. If I hadn’t been witness to the nasty hacking I’d think she was trying to get an extra day with out her 1st 9week report card. NAH! She wouldn’t do that… Report cards went home today…

The big Halloween party is just two days away. We’re up to 23 children coming and I still haven’t got the count from Girl Scouts. Tonight is our big GS party but poor Becca is going to miss it. It’s a good thing though as she still has not decided what she wants to be for Halloween. Talk about leaving it to the last freaking minute! The plan for Friday is for Karen to handle the trick or treaters, Chris and I will handle the kids inside the house and Jeff (in his security shirt) will handle security. I thought it’d be real cool to have a “bouncer” at the front door with the clip board checking off names. Of course, the fogger and purple lights may just be cool too. I just hope Becca feels better before then…

Dad sent me pictures this morning of their first snow. It looks like maybe a half a foot already today? Liz was angry they didn’t close the schools but dad says the way it’s falling, they may get out early. The dogs love it. Well, Spike loves it. Shaggy isn’t too happy about. By the way, Shaggy now has diabetes and dad is NOT happy about it. She’s lost a ton of weight and can now reach her butt, but, now has to take insulin shots two times a day. Ahhh, it must be the Provin genes!!!
