Scheduling for November…

So the school year is off to a great start and the days are filled with activities. Becca seems to have settled into 8th grade without any issues and homework doesn’t seem to be a problem yet.

My new job is awesome. I’m having a blast. I’m having a little difficulty dealing with an infant and occupying a three year old at the same time but I’m slowly working it out. The good thing is that right now my three year old only comes three days a week so we’re able to regroup on the other two with just my infant. I’m still trying to add a few more kids but I’ll take it slow so that I’m not overwhelmed. OVERWHELMED??? Maybe that’s the wrong word. I’m so totally overwhelmed right now I don’t know what to do. Becca sarcastically asked me this weekend if I could pencil her in sometime soon for a quick game of rummy or skipbo. Apparently I’m neglecting my motherly duties with all the other crap I’m dealing with. When I wasn’t working, it was okay to deal with Girl Scouts, the Social Committee, mommy, sister and wife. NOW? OMG I’m swamped. Having the kids from 7 in the morning until 5:30 in the evening and dealing with Girl Scouts and the Social committee, there is no time but the weekends to do cleaning, organizing and uhhh sleeping?

My titles are: Mom, Wife, Sister, Daughter, Girl Scout leader for Cadettes, Girl Scout leader for a Daisy Troop, Coach to 5 troops, Secretary to the Service Unit/Service Team, Webmaster to our yahoo group, Social Chair for Cedar Glen, oh and business owner. Oh yeah, and I’ve got to get some practice in so that I can take some awesome pictures at my favorite person’s wedding in just a few weeks. She’s crazy enough to trust me with her most precious memories for this event. I’d better not screw it up!

My calendar is covered from now until November – weekends included. EVERY freaking weekend!!! And November is quickly filling up too! I’ve got trainings, field trips, meetings, service projects, open houses, recruitments, community functions, weddings and product sales going on. Time to sit down and play a game? Not likely.. Becca and Chris are already feeling neglected and it’s only been 3 weeks.  Hopefully soon I’ll be able to manage my time a little better. Maybe after the baby gets a few weeks older? Who knows. But right now, I need to learn to keep my mouth shut and not volunteer for anything else. Not that I’m complaining. I love what I do, I just can’t figure out how to do it all in a timely manner right now!

So, anyone wanting to hang out? Better call now so I can pencil you in for November or later! GRRRRR!
