Good, Bad, Ugly

Another short missive from my world to the real world…

First, the bad:

If I’m ever in attendance to any public ceremony where a world leader and cultural icon such as the Dalai Lama is greeted with something as fucking stupid and informal as a god-damn “fist-bump” and a “Hello Dalai”… I’ll kill you on the spot.  As Americans we have enough going against us in the world showcase that we don’t need to perpetuate the idea that we are ALL stupid, ignorant Americans.  Just those of us in Tennessee…

Next, the good:

NASA is going to announce there is a metric shit-ton (it’s an industry term) of water on the moon?  That’s awesome!  I’m still not sure what it can mean.  Possibilities of life?  Possibilities of sustaining a permanent human colony?  Plenty of ice hockey rinks?  I don’t know.  All I do know is that if they announce this, it means we were wrong about most of the things we thought we knew about the moon, our closest neighbor, and that gets me excited.  Nothing better than being able to prove yourself wrong and learn something new, GO SCIENCE!!!

Finally, the ugly:

I had Krystal’s for dinner and I’m still feeling a bit sick from last week.  Never follow a prolonged illness with shitty food.  It’s going to be an ugly night…
