Today is Becca’s birthday. She’s turning 8 years old.
Tonight is also the first Girl Scout meeting of the season. After the meeting, we are going to take her to one of her favorite restaurants, Campeche Bay Mexican.
We went to a concert this weekend and saw “Emerald Rose”. They are a Celtic folk band.
I didn’t know what to expect but now I’m a fan. These guys are really good.
I also liked that they played “Loch Lomond” in a slow, dirge style instead of the usual happy, drinking style. It’s a sad, sad song…
The only thing I couldn’t understand was the 5 kids up front in “ICP” and “Twistid” t-shirts. They were totally into the show. Weird combination… I guess I don’t have a lock on eclectic musical taste. I just didn’t see it coming from 16 year old kids.
After the concert we went to a party with the band. Very cool guys. Check them out!!!
I haven’t done much on the website lately. I keep meaning to change the colors but “real” life keeps me busy.
I have figured out that I can access this from work (like now) so I may change some things around when nothing is going on (like now).
