As a shareholder in the company, I am excited that our leader is embracing new technology and at least making the attempt to connect with the people. We get our very own weekly “fireside chat” podcast. This is cool shit. I am REALLY liking this guy so far.

Hear Hear!! I concur! This man is not even in the seat yet and he has shared more with the american people about the happenings condition of our state than Bush did in 8 years. I have never felt ‘closer’ to knowing what is happening in the country.
I watch with great interest EVERY podcast, video, side note ticker. Jesus, this man has inspired me to want to be better, and I didn’t think I was all that bad, but I can be better. We all can.

I don’t know if this guy is for real or not, I know I voted for him primarily because the entrenched party has inevitably become corrupt and fucked things up, and I believed it was time for a change, and any thing was better than the status quo.
I’m reasonably sure that a huge percentage of voters voted for and supported Obama for the same reason, they saw McCain as McSame, and that was unacceptable.
As it turns out, and as we hear more and more from the President-Elect, we may, and I emphasize may, have gotten more than we expected, and more than we deserve, an Honest politician who will actually do, or attempt to do, exactly what he said he would.
I am, however, becoming more optimistic as the weeks go by….. Camelot may be on the horizon again.

I’m glad you guys are so inspired, It’s not working for me. That guys arrogance really rubs me wrong, I’m not drinking the koolaid just yet. He isn’t president yet and he has been acting like he is for months. Everytime I see him I hear living colour, cult of personality. I get the same feeling when I see Mitt Romney. Biden just makes me want to puke, I think after the inaguration Biden will be locked in the bell tower and we won’t see him again until 2012. Obama must be a really great guy if he can run with biden and still get elected. My opinion is the Dems are just as entrenched and corrupt as the republicans. I’m not saying McCain would have been any better than O, after cutting through all the fluff and flash, I have a real hard time telling the difference between the two anyway. Voting wasn’t easy for me, I didn’t like any of the choices, I wish I could have simply voted “present”. The president has been doing the weekly radio address for freaking ever, Obama only used youtube because it isn’t his turn to hold the mike yet, it is a good idea though. Could you imagine the liberal media shit storm if Bush had done that in November of 2000? Bush’s weekly radio address has been podcast since 2005. I think the youtube thing would have happened regardless of who won.
Honest? We’ll see, but I don’t expect much from any politician. Camelot? …LOL (like Pee Wee)
