Well it was our every intention to put a new “A/V Club from Hell” show up here before the Thanksgiving break. I established that getting these shows up here was my first (creative) priority even above my NaNoWriMo project. We made plans to record the last two weekends. I canceled some personal plans to make room for it and I shifted some other things “until later” so we would have uninterrupted time to get the recording done. “Later” never happened so those plans were scrapped as well…
Well, as it happens, real life got in the way and we were unable to get together to record on either weekend. We knew time would be tight in the upcoming weeks so we actually planned to record two shows back to back. The first one would be a normal show and released immediately. The second show would be just our movie discussion content preceded by me giving a very quick solo run down of the upcoming and recently released movies and news. This is still how we plan to do some of the upcoming shows but we were hoping to have something up here by now. I briefly considered doing a short five/ten minute mini-show on my own but haven’t been able to reach my co-host since three weeks ago so I couldn’t see if he thought it was a good idea or not…
We’ll try to get something up here soon. I can’t promise anything because I’m not sure what’s going on at the other end (Hey Fred, call me or leave a comment on the blog!) but I’m pretty sure it’s got to do with his schoolwork. He’s working hard and hitting the books even harder so that’s cool. But I want to record something together because the idea of me doing solo work should scare the hell out of all of you… We all know Fred’s the one with the smooth-pimp microphone voice…
