My turn

I figured it was my turn to post something since it’s all been Chris for the past few days/weeks and I had this really long post (rant) that I was writing and just hit delete. It’s all the same old crap, nothing going to be fixed or solved so… what the heck.. no sense in posting it.

Camp Morgan is crazy busy and it’s just getting crazier. June 13th can’t come to soon for me. I’m itching for the day to be able to take a breath and say, YEAH I MADE IT!  Weekends are packed full of Girl Scouting and most week nights are too. I’m finishing up my Coaching, trying to find new leaders for next year and maybe even a coach for my cluster so they don’t guilt me into staying on. Becca & I made the decision to stay on as Leaders of the Daisy troop even though we both know it’s a bad bad BAD idea but Becca loves the Daisy’s and she’s having a blast being a leader. We’ve made a few adjustments to the schedule and hopefully we’ll get a mom to volunteer to help out with the troop next year NOT! Becca’s thinking about becoming a ZIP girl Scout next year so that she doesn’t have to attend our meetings with our troop. It’s getting crazy and she has no patience for the younger girls. It’s a stupid decision not to break up the troop but… what can we do? 3 Seniors and 8 Cadettes, it’s got to be a Cadette troop or we leave our Cadette’s behind… of course, we’re adding 6 more 6th graders next year.. won’t that be fun?? 6th grade to 9th grade in one troop?  UGH..I’m seriously thinking of quitting that troop. Crazy huh? Leaving my girls behind.. but.. I can’t handle the drama of teenagers!

Morgan Day Care is full of the injured this week. My baby came in Monday with a black eye from falling off the bed and my oldest decided to ignore my repeated demands to “stop spinning” yesterday and crashed into the window sill busting her lip. Her lip was HUGE yesterday. Ice just didn’t get the swelling down. She looks alright today but her mouth is bruised. Hopefully, she’ll listen to Reesa today and NOT spin or run in the house.  Dad informed her that it was “KARMA” GOD was getting her back for being a bad girl. Hmmm, not sure I liked that comment but.. what can I say? I didn’t say it!!

POKER NIGHT IS BACK… MAY 15th 2010… Will be our next poker game.. more info to follow!! I even canceled a GS event just so I had time to shovel out the house!
