So a friend of mine has the job of her dream, she loves working there and enjoys what’s she’s doing. A few months after she begins, she gets her husband a job there. Though the company frowns upon spouses working together, they allowed this because both of them are hard workers. This friend of mine… We’ll call her Sally…worked hard and got noticed, she was given the title supervisor and all was going well. Her husband worked outside in the field while she worked the front office. Management changes, Sally is “demoted” and a new person is put in as Supervisor. The woman is strange, stand offish and has an attitude. She knows Sally did a great job and everyone was ticked she was demoted but Sally just didn’t have the experience the new lady had so she was booted down. Sally was okay with this, she needs the job, she keeps quiet.
The new lady sets her eyes on Sally’s husband. Everyone can see it except for Sally’s husband – we’ll call him..Frank… Frank has a habit of sniffing where he shouldn’t. He got busted quite a few times but swears nothing is going on and EVERYONE is crazy when they say the new supervisor is looking at him. Frank & Sally throw Karaoke parties at their home monthly, inviting all their co-workers including the supervisor. EVERYONE notices that when the supervisor comes to the Karaoke parties, she immediately hones in on Frank and though she is not “all over him” you can clearly see she has eyes only for him. Frank does not see this… (that’s his story and he’s sticking to it).. Sally and Frank need money, though they make decent money at their job, more money is always needed. Family members offer money for work done around their houses – cleaning, landscaping, car washing. Money won’t be given free, but if you work for it, you can have it. But Frank decides to take a side job from his Supervisor. The supervisor needs her pool refinished and she pays decent money. Sally discusses, begs, pleads and fights with Frank to not take the job but Frank insists she’s being stupid and insists he’s not doing anything so let it go. Sally is now the laughing stock of work, her family members tell her she’s crazy for allowing this to happen again and she’s stressed beyond belief. On Franks day off, Frank works at his supervisors home, she just happens to ask for the same day off. At night after work.. he goes to the supervisors home – How long does it take to freaking refinish a pool??? She’s now decided she needs to “ride along” with Frank on his jobs to make sure he’s doing his job right, she’s also promising to introduce him to “higher ups” in the hopes of making him a manager in the near future. Frank runs errands, the supervisor is missing and then Sally finds out the supervisor is with her husband. It’s getting ridiculous but Sally is told she’s imagining things. When Frank confronts the other employees about Sally’s issues, they back stab her and tell him Sally is being overly dramatic even though just 20 minutes earlier they said they had her back. Sally is afraid to say something to management for fear She and/or Frank will lose their jobs. Even though the supervisor is in the wrong…..
Currently… A good friend of Sally and Frank… we’ll call him… Bob.. is getting tired of this supervisor. Apparently, she grabbed his ass one too many times… Whether this is truth or lie.. Bob went to management and complained, said he was suing for sexual harassment. All employees were questioned – they all turned on Bob INCLUDING SALLY!! Sally is afraid she will get fired because of this.. UGH! Neither Frank nor Sally will speak to Bob and when I asked Sally why she didn’t back him.. she said, I was between my husband and bob.. I had to choose my husband. BUT YOUR HUSBAND IS WRONG!! I know.. but there are some things you have to do to save your marriage. WHAT? That is fucking bull shit! No job is worth LYING for.. no job is worth SUFFERING for when your husband is doing something inappropriate, when the supervisor is doing something inappropriate!! No HUSBAND is worth lying for when he’s a lying peace of cheating SHIT!
Am I wrong? Am I the only one that will throw Chris’s ass under the bus if something like this happened to me? Well, number 1… It would only happen once.. I wouldn’t stay with someone who continually screwed me over.. but when he’s screwing a friend over for some stupid slut whore!! That’s just wrong!!!
Wow, that makes me feel better to get that off my chest.. I’ve got too much on my mind right now with my own crap to deal with this stupid stuff! But it still pisses me off that this continually happens!! But… I have to shut up and just…listen GRRRRRR!!!
And yes.. fake names were used to protect the real persons.. though we all know who the hell I’m talking about… GRRRRRRRR!!!
