My sister is driving me crazy. I just spent the last 30 minutes on Yahoo IM with her and Jeff. They were sitting side by side at their house IM’ing me separately about their visit tomorrow. I’m supposed to drive over there to pick Karen up in the morning, she’s treating me to lunch WOO HOO. Jeff will come by after work and visit – they need a break from their roommates and honestly, I’m lonely without my baby boy home with me. So, the conversation starts with me asking Karen if I’m still coming to get her and if so, what time. I get the usual response, “well, whatever time you want to come I’ll be ready.” I respond by saying, I’ll be available anytime after 7am when I drop Becca off at school is that okay? Her response, well let me see when my roommate plans to wake up to take care of his kid. GRR! Then why tell me ANYTIME when it can’t be anytime. So I then switch my conversation with Jeff to…PLEASE smack your wife and tell her to make a damn decision. Jeff finally makes the decision and when I tell Karen when I’m heading over she says,” Well, I don’t know if that will work, let me get back with you.” So I use the big capital letters and inform her that the man sitting next to her made the decision and she needs to argue with him.  She then starts answering questions and making comments to comments mentioned 6 or 7 lines ago. SO confusing. GRRRR, either keep up with my typing or switch to the damn phone! She switched to the phone….

Sayge, Pagan’s sister is looking for a new home. They are 9 years old now and getting crankier each day. We’ve had our own little episodes with Pagan but Karen called me the other day in  hysterics and tears. Sayge can’t stay with them anymore because she’s biting. She bit Karen when Karen grabbed her collar as she was running out the door to attack Mr. Mailman, she then bit Jeff as he was trying to lock her in the bedroom. They live in a house with a 7 year old boy and 11 month old little girl, the parents are starting to voice their objections to having Sayge in the house with their kids. NOPE, Teresa is NOT going to take her. If I had my way, Pagan would be finding a new house to live also. I thought it was Luna tearing up my beautiful back yard but NOPE it’s Pagan. He’s dug so many holes when Chris gets home he’ll probably bury the dog in one of them. I’m so tired of animals.

Becca finally brought her grades up. She’s up to 5 A’s and one B. She brought her Science grade from a 79.1 C to an 85.5 B with her Science research paper and presentation but then dropped it down to a 83.9 with her Science quiz of D #3. I just don’t understand why she’s passing everything but the darn tests. Drives me crazy.

Gifted students vs Common Sense: Becca informed me they received their paperwork for their History Fair project. Geography is another of Becca’s sore subjects, as she’s just barely holding on to that A (brought it up from a D). Becca decided that instead of doing a solo project this year, she’s going to do a group project with two of her friends. OH BECCA BAD IDEA! One of the girls Becca chose for a partner is more opinionated than well, any Morgan. OUCH!  (Sorry guys!!) She’s hard headed and stubborn and will insist everything go her way. The other partner Becca chose just happens to be the same girl Becca informed me last week was failing out of school and her parents were thinking of pulling her out of the magnet program and putting her in a regular school. NOT the two choices I’d chose for 50% of my 3rd quarter grade huh? Her response, the stubborn girl won’t procrastinate and will make the other two get together and do the work quickly and efficiently, the girl that’s failing? Well, she’s gotten good grades on all her major projects (keeping her grades just above fail level) so she’s got to be lucky right? Quarter 3 is going to be a big nail biter for me I can see it!

I am looking forward to Christmas break, maybe then we’ll have a weekend where we can actually sleep in. This weekend is going to be crammed full AGAIN. We’ve got a community service project from 9am until 1pm downtown and then a Birthday party in Orange Park from 5pm until 8pm. Oh joy, just how I want to spend my weekend. Of course, I’m looking forward to Christmas break even more because my baby will be home from Chicago and we’ll be able to be together for 2 whole weeks WOO HOO! Just a few more days and my baby will be home… I was driving home from the store today listening to my iPod. Blackmore’s Night came on, “Wish you were here”, I started singing like I always do because I just love that song and then realized the words weren’t coming out right, huh, tears will do that to you, I just got all choked up when it said, “The snow is getting colder and I miss you like hell and I’m feeling blue.” Guess I was really feeling blue. Tuesday can’t come quick enough, Come home soon Chris Honey – I MISS YOU!

One Response to “Brain Freeze”

  1. I miss you too baby. I’ll be……

[Singing at the top of my lungs]

“I’ll be home for Christmas… You can count on me…”

Be home soon. (And then after two weeks you’ll want me to go away again.)
