You all know I’ve been trying to come up with something more creative… I tried the music quiz thing: FAIL. I tried the random chatter format: FAIL. I just can’t come up with anything. Last weekend I recorded another 2 hour free-floating conversation with Fred (Teresa and KC were there too) and wanted to edit it down to another (2nd) pseudo-podcasty type of show. We attempted to stay on topic and I thought I could whittle it down to about 45 minutes of good material… After listening to it, I didn’t have much to go on.
So I won’t say I’m giving up on the whole audio-cast thing. I just need to come up with an idea worth recording.
IN THE MEAN TIME… Are any of you people into sports? My brother Jeff and his friend Jay have a show of their own. The audio quality is pretty bad but the content more than makes up for it. They ramble and lose momentum at times (first show, cut them some slack) but when these guys talk sports, they sound like professional sportscasters. I fucking HATE sports and I suddenly found myself interested in what they were talking about. I’m not much of an endorsement but honestly, this could get good. They are recording the next show tomorrow night (Wednesday) at 11pm. Details are on the page if you want to call in or just listen to it when they’re done.
So there you go, another recommendation for another site. I didn’t have anything for today and I just felt like a Tuesday should have a post… Actually, I wrote something up today but it’s nowhere near ready for the screen. It’s too mean and I don’t want it to be. I need some of my venom to leak out before I make it a post…

Oh no! Now there might actually be PEOPLE listening?! Too bad we couldn’t have that lady who was going to try to channel Harry Kalas (Phillies sports announcer) and Jesus Christ for us. I can’t WAIT for that one, lol. We are going to push that one back to next month. Anyway, thank you for the kind (and biased) words. Let’s hope tonight goes better than last week.

It’s all your fault! Just when you thought we couldn’t get any worse… you cursed us by saying something positive about us, lol. For those who haven’t already heard the show, it was an absolute wreck. We had so many issues, I don’t even know where to start. For those that have listened already…I’m sorry!

It wasn’t that bad man. well, at least once we got rolling. The technical difficulties are killers though. I think we have it pegged now though. This week should be ok. I got one of theose “you’ve been selected to get a million bucks” emails. They left a phone number so we’re gonna call and check it out. We’re gonna talk movies a bit, and I’m gonna get into why I hate online gaming but can’t stop. So check us out, this week it’s gonna be on thursday @ 11pm east. Hey Chris, thanks for the promo and feel free to call in and pimp your blog anytime. Oh, one more thing…We’re not really a sports based podcast, that’s just a part.
